New MBA Course to Grow Business

A new MBA course introduced this semester will discuss the strategic skills to grow a business.  The Business School's course Growing New Ventures in a Supply Chain Management, 22:799:667:60, taught by Professor Richard Mammone, will discuss business processes, enhanced marketing, and acquisitions utilizing real world case studies and the importance of technology to efficiently grow business.    Students will learn to increase operational efficiencies by improving business processes to work more productively and obtain greater profitability which can fund growth plans.

In addition to the lectures and guest speakers, there will be hands-on activities such as utilizing software applications to build a basic business plan.
